Their future is our priority
At Tommee Tippee, we believe that every baby has the right to a great start in life, and it's our responsibility to ensure that the world they're born into is set up to provide it for them.
This means protecting the planet today – by removing single-use plastics from everything we do, sustainably sourcing our materials, using renewable energy supplies, and making our business net zero – so they can live well in it tomorrow, ensuring the society they grow up in can help them to shine bright.
We’ve prioritised some key areas, linked to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

The life of our rivers, seas and oceans is rapidly declining as a result of the impact of humans on the planet.
We’re committed to cleaning up the world’s waters so our babies can enjoy them. Just like we do.
We’ve already made a start in establishing renewable energy supplies in the UK and Australia and zero to landfill across all our UK manufacturing facilities.
And we're on our way to continuing to reduce our planetary impact across every area of our business in the UK and across the world.
Over the next nine years, we’ll reduce our global energy usage year on year, install energy efficient equipment and machinery, and eliminate the use of harmful chemicals across all our manufacturing processes.
As we aim to achieve zero waste by 2025, we’re ramping up on recycling, ensuring that our business is zero to landfill by our 2030 goal.
Every living thing is integral to the survival of our planet, so we need to look after every plant, animal and mineral with the same care and attention we give to our babies.
We’re committed to protecting and preserving the natural resources our babies can’t live without.
We’ve already made a start in launching new product lines made using innovative methods and sustainable materials.
Did you know our award-winning Twist & Click nappy disposal system features bio-based GREENFILM™ that's made from sustainably sourced sugarcane?
As we increase our use of sustainable materials in products and packaging, we’ll reduce our use of fossil fuel resources. Because the work we do is made stronger when we combine efforts with others across the world. We’ve developed a Supplier Code of Conduct outlining our environmental sustainability expectations to help our partners do their bit, working with them to source sustainable materials. We’ll continuously look to work with global initiatives such as the Forest Stewardship Council®. All our UK and EU sourced cardboard packaging is now FSC certified, maximising the positive impact we have on the planet. Our UK manufacturing facility is a wildlife friendly site, with bird, bat and owl boxes installed, a wildlife pond and wildflower planting.
Human impact has caused great damage to the world. But the power of reversing it lies within people, too. We’re committed to ensuring our planet is as healthy and thriving as the babies who will grow up on it. So, we’re setting out a plan to reduce the impact we have on the planet.
We’ve already started to cut back our plastic usage by removing 414 tonnes of single-use plastic from our packaging over the last two years.
By the end of 2022 we aim to eliminate all single-use plastics from our packaging and by 2025 we will also have eliminated them from our products. By continuously collaborating with our partners and suppliers, we’ll also work to remove single use plastics from our supply chain so we can limit the impact we have on the world’s waters at every stage of our production process.
Protecting the life of our oceans means getting out there and getting stuck in. Our volunteering initiatives will see us clean-up beaches across the world as we continue to protect and preserve them for future generations.
To protect the climate of tomorrow, we need to act today so babies of the future have a safe world to grow up in.
We’re committed to looking after the wellbeing of babies, but to do this, we need to ensure that the climate they will grow up in brings them health, not harm.
We’ve already made a start in reducing our global carbon footprint by removing 3827 tonnes of CO2 emissions in 2020 (which is our biggest reduction in any one year).
We’ll continue to do this as we introduce further initiatives to reduce emissions and will offset carbon where we’ve minimised our impact, which we do for all our business flights.
We’ll continue to reduce our carbon footprint and material usage as we evolve our product ranges, reducing the footprint of each new product, and ensuring our packaging is 100% recyclable.
...we're on a sustainabilty journey without an end, moving forward on our mission of making the world a better place for our babies to grow up in and evolving it as we go along, always striving for better. Want to come too?
